Leading outbound travel markets in the Netherlands 2019-2022, by share of departures

Either before or after the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, France and Germany were the leading destinations for Dutch tourists based on the share of departures. In 2022, these two countries accounted for 31 percent of all outbound trips from the Netherlands. That year, Spain followed in the ranking, representing 13 percent of departures by Dutch travelers.
