Online marketplace usage for product search in Spain 2023, by age
In the second quarter of 2023, approximately four in ten Spanish online shoppers started their buying process on online marketplaces. Among these, Millennials and Gen X consumers exhibited the highest preference for this platform when seeking product information before a purchase. Conversely, Gen Z consumers were the least inclined to commence their shopping discovery on marketplaces, with slightly over a third of the respondents doing so.
