U.S. survey respondents in 2023 saw the main use of autonomous ride-hailing, when it becomes available, for transport in tourist destinations or places they are not familiar with, for transport to train stations or airports, or as a transport option for late-night travel. 27 percent of respondents indicated that they would consider autonomous ride-hailing for each of these purposes.
