Melanoma skin cancer survival rates in Denmark 1971-2020, by gender
Over the last 50 years the survival rates of melanoma skin cancer in Denmark has increased. In the period 2016 to 2020, over 97 percent of women and 95 percent of men lived at least five years after the diagnosis of melanoma. While, between 1971 and 1975 around 73 percent of women and 55 percent of men would live for five years following a diagnosis of melanoma skin cancer.
