Major companies in renewable electricity distribution in France 2023, by capacity
In 2023, the renewable electricity capacity in the distribution grids of mainland France amounted to over 70 gigawatts. Enedis was the leading distribution grid operator, with more than 38 gigawatts of energy capacity. RTE followed closely with almost 29 gigawatts of electricity capacity. EDF-SEI was the renewable energy distributor in Corsica (Corse, in French), where renewable electricity coverage was roughly 38 percent of the total electrical energy consumption.
