Value of forest product imports from Malaysia into India 2007-2017
Malaysia was one of India's most prominent trading partners in terms of the import of forest products by India. The overall import of these products reflected a rising trend since 2007. The imports peaked in 2014 with a net worth equivalent to 672 million U.S. dollars. However, in the following years, India reduced its import of forest products by nearly 38 percent with the value of imports dropping to 419 million U.S. dollars in 2017.
