Using 2015 prices as a baseline, the cost of housing in selected developed and emerging economies was highest in Russia as of the first quarter of 2023. Housing costs in the country increased rapidly since the beginning of 2021, reaching an index value of 245 in the first quarter of 2023. The United States had the second highest housing prices, followed by Germany. On the other hand, Brazil had the lowest housing prices of the countries.
