In 2021, Hanwha Life posted a total sales value of around $14.6 billion. Hanwha Life is one of over 20 subsidiaries run by the South Korean conglomerate Hanwha. Overall, Hanwha posted a total sales value of over $60.6 billion in 2021. The conglomerate launched digital insurance carrier Carrot in 2019. In 2021, it launched Hanwha Life Financial Services, and Hanwha Galleria merged with Hanwha Solutions to make Hanwha Solutions Galleria Division. In 2022, Hanwha Corporation merged with Hanwha Engineering & Construction and Hanwha Aerospace with Hanwha Defense.
