This statistic shows the percentage of U.S. adults aged 65 years and older with clinically relevant depressive symptoms from 1998 to 2014, by gender. In 2014, around 10 percent of men aged 65 years and older had signs of depression, compared to 15 percent of women aged 65 years and older.
