This statistic displays the estimated distribution of hospitalizations among patients with an eating disorder as the primary diagnosis in the United States between 1999 and 2009, by their serious secondary diagnoses. On average in 2007-2008, some 28 percent of hospitalized eating disorder patients also had a secondary diagnosis of cardiac dysrhythmias.
