This statistic presents the results of a phone survey conducted by Gallup among American adults who were 18 years and older in November 2013. Survey respondents were asked how they would vote on a proposal to raise the minimum wage from 7.25 to 9 U.S. dollars an hour. Some 39 percent of Republican respondents said they would vote against such a proposal.
