Share of TB cases among foreign-born people in top refugee destinations, 2008-2020
In 2020, around 70 percent of tuberculosis (TB) cases in Germany were attributable to foreign-born individuals. In comparison, in 2008, just 31 percent of TB cases in Germany were attributable to foreign-born persons. This statistic shows the proportion of tuberculosis cases attributable to foreign-born individuals in three of the five top destination countries for refugees from 2008 to 2020.
