French opinion on the new immigration bill political party influences December 2023
According to a survey conducted on December 20, 2023, just after the Parliament voted on the new immigration bill the night before, a majority of French respondents believed Marine Le Pen's party, Le Rassemblement National, had the most influence in writing the bill. Indeed, 73 percent of those surveyed thought that way. By comparison, 54 percent of respondents believed the presidential majority of Emmanuel Macron was the political party that had the biggest impact on the text.
