Ghana: number of mental health staff

As of 2020, there were over 4.4 thousand employees in mental health in Ghana, the majority of whom were registered nurses. In fact, around 340 nurses graduated with a minimum of one year of training in mental health care in the same year. Moreover, the number of community mental health nurses and psychiatrists in the country amounted to 561 and 39, respectively.
