APAC: 4G video experience by spectrum bandwidth 2023

A study conducted in the Asia-Pacific region between May and July 2023 revealed that the quality of 4G video streaming increased with higher spectrum capacities. At bandwidths between 80 and 100 megahertz, 4G video experience in APAC reached an index score of 71.6 out of 100.

The mobile video experience score is the average of video quality of OpenSignal users on 4G networks. The measurement of real-world video streams using an ITU-based approach is used to determine the video quality. The score is metrically calculated, taking into account the picture quality, the video loading time and the stall rate, on a scale of 1 to 100. Find the detailed methodology here.
