Agri-food self-sufficiency in Armenia 2021, by product
Among basic agricultural food product categories, Armenia had the highest self-sufficiency rate for fruit and berries, at 103 percent in 2021. In other words, domestic production of fruit and berries in the country slightly exceeded the demand for that product category in the country. The lowest self-sufficiency levels were recorded for vegetable oils and sugar.
