As of July 2023, the installed base of anesthesia machines in Ecuadorian hospitals was estimated at 1,093 units. That year, ultrasound machines had an installed based of 667 units, while x-ray machines amounted to 504 installed units. In 2020, the North American country made use of 311 operating rooms.
