Opinions about government performance in reducing wealth gap in Tunisia 2011-2021
In 2021, a survey conducted in Tunisia found that 37 percent of the people felt that the government was doing good or very good in narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor. This was the largest share of people who had this sentiment for the years under review. Moreover, it was a large increase from 2018, when the share stood at 13 percent, marking the lowest share of people who viewed government intervention in the wealth gap positively.
