Share of the population by income level in Latin America 2022
In 2022, less than seven percent of the population in Latin America had either a high or upper-middle income level. Almost a fifth of the population fell in the non-poor with low incomes stratum, while the shares of the population that had a lower-middle income and that was poor were very similar.
