Actions taken in reaction to pharma advertising in the U.S. 2023, by age
According to the results of a March 2023 survey conducted in the United States, 21 percent of patients under 50 have made an appointment to see a healthcare provider after seeing a pharmaceutical advertisement. In contrast, seven percent of respondents aged 50 years and older have done the same. Additionally, younger patients were more inclined to mention something they saw in an ad to a healthcare provider.
