In 2022, a survey on vaccine awareness in Africa found that most people obtained information about the COVID-19 vaccines from the radio or television. This corresponded to approximately 51 percent of all respondents. Furthermore, healthcare workers were another important information channel, with 24 percent of respondents citing this as their main source of information on the vaccines.
