Biomass consumption in Ghana 2021, by sector
Energy derived from biomass is largely consumed residentially in Ghana. As of 2021, around 2.7 million tons of oil equivalent of biomass were used by the residential sector. In the same year, the industry and service sectors registered a consumption volume of 387,000 and 120,000 tons of oil equivalent, respectively.
