Number of structures in Ghana 2021, by type
As of 2021, most buildings in Ghana were conventional, that is, constructed from materials such as cement blocks, burnt bricks, and mud. These types of buildings reached approximately 7.7 million in number, followed by wooden structures, which added up to around 950 thousand. Moreover, there were over 273 thousand kiosks in the country. In the same year, the majority of structures in Ghana were fully completed.
