Of the Nordic countries, Sweden had the highest rate of the people at risk of poverty or social exclusion in 2020. Almost 18 percent of the people living in Sweden were at risk of poverty or social exclusion. Denmark, Norway, and Finland all had around 16 percent, whereas Iceland had the lowest rate with 11 percent (numbers only available until 2018). Interestingly, the rate of people at risk of poverty or social inclusion in Norway increased by almost three percentage points since 2-14. Additionally, Denmark's rate dropped by almost two percentage points since 2013.
