Quarterly GDP contribution of water and sewerage at constant price in Ghana 2019-2023
In the third quarter of 2023, water supply and sewerage in Ghana contributed around 302 million Ghanaian cedis (GHS) to the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at constant 2013 prices. This was equivalent to roughly 24.8 million U.S. dollars. Considering the period reviewed, the highest GDP contribution since 2019 was registered in Q3 2023. The lowest value, however, was achieved in the first quarter of 2023, at 163.4 million GHS.
