Natural resources rents as a share of GDP in Ghana 2010-2021
As of 2021, total rents from natural resources in Ghana corresponded to nearly 0.4 percent of the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). In the preceding year, the rents occupied 0.2 percent of the GDP. Within the reviewed period, the highest share was registered in 2014 at close to 7.9 percent. Natural resources considered here comprise crude oil, natural gas, coal (hard and soft), minerals, and roundwood.
