People reading online news in European countries in 2020, by gender
By 2020, 67 percent of male internet users in the European Union (EU-27) used the internet to access online new sites, newspapers, or news magazines. Among women this share was slightly lower and amounted to 64 percent. People in Finland and the Netherlands were much more likely as people in other countries to search for news online. Italians and Austrians on the other hand were least likely to do so.
