Healthcare spending on cancer care in Europe in 2018, by country
In 2018, several European countries spent 7.1 percent of their healthcare budget on cancer care, these countries were Bulgaria, France, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia. In comparison, Sweden spent a 3.7 percent share of their healthcare budget dedicated to cancer care and treatment. Many of the Nordic countries had a lower share of healthcare spending overall spent on cancer compared to the rest of Europe.
