Impact of COVID-19 on the export of the food industry from the Netherlands 2020
The majority of Dutch food companies with export activities exported less food due to the coronavirus crisis in the first half of 2020. Of all the food companies surveyed, more than 50 percent reported a decline in export, while a further 20 percent did not undertake any export activities. The share of companies that indicated an increase in food exports was less than 15 percent.
