Monetary freedom sub-score of Ethiopia on the Economic Freedom Index 2000-2020
The monetary freedom sub-score on the Economic Freedom Index for Ethiopia was 62.7 as of 2020, which was an improvement of 1.9 points from the preceding year. From 2000 onwards, the sub-score fluctuated between 84.3 in 2004 and 54.3 in 2011. In 2000, and from 2002 to 2004, the Ethiopian sub-score was higher than both the African and world averages.
