Coronavirus: precautions affecting consumers visiting reopened movie theaters
A survey held in the United States reported that 23 percent of consumers said if high touch areas such as concession stands were sanitized in between movies, they would be much more likely to visit a movie theater within a month of their state passing benchmarks for re-opening the economy, during the coronavirus outbreak. Sanitization of the space was the most popular precaution among consumers, whereas measures such as compulsory face mask wearing and offering fewer movie screenings than normal were less likely to encourage consumers to visit cinemas.
