As of April 2020, 40 percent of U.S. adults aged 18 to 24 were very concerned about the privacy implications of a tool created by Apple or Google that could trace potential exposure to the coronavirus. Additionally, 26 percent of adults from the same age group were somewhat concerned, and only 34 percent were not concerned at all. Among adults aged 55 and older, merely 30 percent of respondents where very concerned.
