In 2018, 21.5 percent of respondents found that cigarette butts were the most common type of dirt found in Singapore bus stops. This is followed by used tissue paper at 16.2 percent, and disposable items at 12.8 percent. According to the survey, hawker centers and coffee shops were the sites where more respondents report encountering dirt.
