Use of contraceptives in Denmark 2018, by age and gender
In 2018, Danes between 15 and 24 years were most inclined to use contraceptives when compared to the rest of the population. In detail, 85 percent of the respondents in the youngest age group used contraceptives that year. Using contraception was generally less frequent among the older age groups. For example, 57 percent of the male and female respondents between 35 and 44 years protected themselves when having sexual intercourse.
