Perception of being cared for by traditional parties and politicians in Belgium 2019
Generally speaking, tradition is a way of determining the political spectrum. In the big lines, right-wing parties have a stronger affinity to the ways of the past than left-wing ones.
In Belgium, traditional political parties are historically divided into three families. These were the Christian democrats, the social democrats, and the liberals. Nowadays, four big political families exist: centrists, socialists, liberals, and non-traditionalists. These are divided into multiple levels such as language and geographical location.
