Global consumers willingness to pay monthly fee for personal data protection 2018
This statistic presents the results of a global survey of internet users assessing their willingness to pay a monthly fee of at least one U.S. dollar per month to ensure protection of their personal information. During the October 2018 survey, only 31 percent of respondents stated that they would pay at least one U.S. dollar per month to protect their social media information. Overall, most consumers were not willing to pay companies a monthly fee for the protection of their personal data.
