During the period surveyed, 38 percent of respondents in Malaysia were of the opinion that the sugar tax would have neither a positive nor negative impact on businesses in Malaysia. By comparison, 35 percent of respondents felt that the sugar tax would have a somewhat negative impact, while 11 percent of respondents felt that the sugar tax would be somewhat positive on businesses.
